A New Singing Competition in Kansas City!
- We are thrilled to announce a new singing competition coming to Kansas City in March 2025! We are in discussions with the Kauffman Center Theater as our potential venue. The competition will span five days, with auditions taking place over the first three days, followed by the semi-finals on day four, and the finals on day five. The semi-finals and finals will be live events, complete with an audience.
- Our competition will feature a panel of three judges, with a fourth judge being the live audience. We are currently in talks with several prominent individuals in the music industry to serve as our judges.
- We are also in discussions with Ben Mauro, the former lead guitarist for Lionel Richie and Cher, to be the face of our competition and serve as one of our judges. We hope to collaborate with Ben to promote the show on local and regional music stations throughout the Kansas City area.
- If we secure the Kauffman Center Theater as our venue, up to 1,800 tickets will be available for each night’s show to the general public.
- Should the competition prove successful in Kansas City, we plan to bring it to other cities across the Midwest, leading up to a final live show in Kansas City featuring the winners from each location. The winner of each competition will receive a cash prize.
